“International Universities Search and Rescue Games 2016”, collaboratively planned by International Universities Search and Rescue Council and Civil Defence Organization for nearly 2 years ended on Friday 29 April, 2016.

 

The competitions, in which 20 universities from 11 countries took part including the Search and Rescue Team of our university, were held in Esentepe Civil Defence Leisure Center in 5 different stages (Rescue from Debris, Target Discovery, Rescue from Car Accident and First Aid, Overhead Line Rescue, and Nightlong Tracing on the Openfield) for 4 days.

 

Secretary General Dursun KOÇ, SKSM director Simge BACA OZANER and SKSM staff Mustafa ÜNVER represented our university at the Council General Assembly meeting, which was held on 29 April 2016 at Merit Hotel. After the meeting, the individuals competitors and teams were given various prizes, and the other students were given memorial medals.
