Eastern Mediterranean University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet OSAM has visited ITU-TRNC Education Research Campuses Rector Prof. Dr. Ercan KAHYA. The meeting was held on November 16, 2017, on Thursday at ITU-TRNC Rectorate. EMU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Özgür EREN and EMU Public Relations and Press Office Director Deputy Murat AKTUĞRALI accompanied Rector OSAM during the visit.

 

ITU-TRNC Rector Prof. Dr. Ercan KAHYA stated that the both universities, EMU being the first university of TRNC and ITU being the first technical university of Turkey, are two big treasures of Famagusta. Rectors talked about the possible common projects based on cooperation agreement signed on April 2017.

 

Eastern Mediterranean University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet OSAM expressed his happiness about the cooperation agreement and said that the common projects between two universities will make important contributions to Famagusta and other parts of Cyprus in scientific, social, cultural and academic fields.

 

Rector KAHYA emphasized the possibilities of collaboration between ITU North Cyprus Continuing Education Center and EMU Continuing Education Center and provided information about Famagusta and Yeni Erenköy Campus projects.
